Bosphorus , is one of the most beautiful sea passages in the world. When travelling by boat it is possible to take a look at historical yalıs ( waterfront houses )

The Bosphorus which connects The Black Sea and The Sea of Marmara is actually a valley lying in northeast – southwest direction . It was submerged in the recent geological era. Its length , in a straight line , is 29.9 km.s At the widest point  its width is 3600 m; and 689at the narrowest point; between European and Asian fortresses.
